We currently live around beautiful undeveloped land. Fortunately most of these lands are publicly owned. But a lot of these undeveloped lands are in private hand and will possibly be developed in the near future if we don't take action.

If it's truly our desire to prevent development, we should strive to make Pacifica fiscally strong enough to purchase these private lands. It is not fair to the landowners/property tax payer to just condemn these properties.

Did you know the hill between Linda Mar beach and Rockaway beach on the Ocean side is privately owned? Lets make an offer.

Did you know most of the mountains South of Linda Mar are outside of Pacifica's boundaries? A large part of the hill have already been subdivided into lots and streets and do not require a public hearing! Lets annex this area into Pacifica's boundaries to have control of our backyard.

Do you know who owns Rockaway Beach? not the public

Did you know the Ocean Shore Railroad still owns land and pays property tax in Pacifica?

My point is lets get more Proactive and less reactive.
