The offshore views of Pacifica are spectacular from a surf board, a kayak, a Zodiac boat, or even walking our pier. Our unique pier attracts people who enjoy the outdoors which is a desirable characteristic for a community.
Our pier suffers from years of deferred maintenance and could really use our attention. I know there many interested Pacificans that would jump at the chance to volunteer their energy to work outdoors on our beautiful pier. We can easily organize volunteer work parties to bring our pier back to a healthy status.
This all goes back to being more self reliant and enjoying being a community.
